1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Photocleaner mobile application (the "App") operated by AppViolet ("we," "our," or "us").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

Photocleaner is a mobile utility application designed to:

  • Detect duplicate photos
  • Identify blurry images
  • Detect similar photos
  • Provide storage usage insights
  • Assist users in managing their photo library

All processing is performed locally on your device.

We do not store, upload, or process your photos on external servers.

3. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 13 years old
  • Have legal capacity to enter into these Terms

If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

4. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Download and use the App
  • Install the App on Apple devices you own or control

This license is granted solely for personal, non-commercial use.

5. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Modify or create derivative works
  • Use the App for unlawful purposes
  • Interfere with the App's functionality
  • Circumvent any technical safeguards

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App may offer auto-renewable subscriptions that provide access to premium features.

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple according to the App Store refund policy.
  • We do not store or process payment information.

7. User Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

  • Deleting photos is irreversible once removed from the device and/or Recently Deleted folder.
  • You are responsible for reviewing photos before deletion.
  • We are not responsible for accidental deletions.
  • We recommend maintaining backups of your photos.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App remain the property of AppViolet.

You may not:

  • Copy branding or design
  • Use our trademarks without permission

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."

We make no warranties regarding:

  • Accuracy of duplicate detection
  • Accuracy of blur detection
  • Storage calculations
  • Compatibility with all devices

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

AppViolet shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of photos
  • Data loss
  • Device issues
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Required by law

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

12. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

13. Updates and Modifications

We may update:

  • The App features
  • These Terms

Changes will take effect when posted with a new "Last Updated" date.

Continued use constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the jurisdiction in which AppViolet operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
